SYMPLICITY is the database that we use to:​
1. Review and store resumes
2. Communicate with students
​
SYMPLICITY has a job/internship search engine and many other resources for students.
​
We encourage you to assign all of your students to update/create a profile and have their resume reviewed on our database.
​
Please note: The Career Management Services Center requires ALL students to be registered on SYMPLICITY prior to using any of our resources including making an appointment with a career coach.

​RESUME WRITING
The CMSC uses a standard format for students' resume which reflect best practices in today's workforce. Though we do modify resumes and allow for individualism, we require students to start with typing their resume in a Word document and NOT use a resume "wizard".
Students should use the First Time Resume Builder as a guide to create the resume they will upload to Symplicity.

The Career Preparatory Plan was created to give students a guide of what activities they should engage in while completing their course work in order to give them a holistic college experience and prepare them for future careers.
